So the last couple of days I’ve spent in SF, and met several developers that I admire. Cabel Sasser (Panic Inc), Wil Shipley (Delicious Monster), Craig Hockenberry, Corey Marion (Icon Factory), and everyone else that I met ended up being super amazingly cool as well as very insightful. It’s amazing how much you can learn just from listening to these guys talk at a bar. It was awesome to actually have a conversation with someone who’s blog I read and who’s products I personally use.

I also got to put faces to a few developers I only knew before through the IRC MacDev channel, such as Chris Dillman, Eric Hoaglin, and Matthias Neeracher (who makes a really cool app for Jazz vocalists called VocalEasel as well as created the “Alex” voice for OS X, and if I understood correctly created the current OS X chess).
